The new Volvo V40 finally arrives officially
After endless leaks of photos and videos, the new Volvo V40 has now been revealed officially ahead of Geneva 2012. In the last two weeks we’ve had the 2012 Volvo V40 leaked all over, from a grainy scan to a full set of official photos and even a new V40 promotional video. But finally, Volvo has thrown in the towel and we get official information on the 2012 volvo v40 released.
Entries can now be submitted to the interactive design competition from Opel/Vauxhall, in partnership with CDN, which asks students: "What do you think is our lounge style?"
Students are invited to upload their entries to the competition website www.cardesigncontest.com, where they can be viewed and commented upon by the design community as well as other students. CDN and Opel/Vauxhall is encouraging entrants to start uploading material from day one to increase their changes of getting useful feedback on their entries. The competition judges, as well as the design community and other students, will be looking at your research imagery and mood boards, sketches, renderings and video – whatever you feel best represents your vision.

Mercedes-Benz World will be celebrating its first birthday this weekend, and you’re invited. Although officially the anniversary was last week, it’ll be this Saturday and Sunday (3-4 November) that the festivities take place. Stirling Moss will be going down to Surrey to collect the keys to his new Smart and sign autographs, they’ll be a free prize draw to win passenger rides in the SLR or with the Silver Arrows display team, and Mercedes’ AMG and off-road courses will be available for a birthday price of £15.
